Facebook post from Bruce Issell - Karaka fueler

Tom is a friend of mine. We sailed to Hong Kong together quite a few years ago on Willow. He was in search of his own yacht and he searched every port we stopped at for the ship of his dreams. I kept saying to him that he could possibly find what he was looking for in Hong Kong . The rest is history. He lives an amazing alternate lifestyle that most can only dream about. I met him when he was 24 an inspirational young man with a big dream that is now his reality. Please help support this project its fair dinkum.

MAIL FROM GWANAEL - KARAKA FUELER

Message: hy Simon.

My name is Gwen. I\'m Gaetan\'s brother who gave you the first 50usd for your project to karaka. I\'m also a good friend of Tom (and his cat, named Cat!) and a very good friend of all his family in france. I was on the deck in hong kong when Karaka reborn and start her new life. I was in the indian ocean for month, sailing for a no man\'s land called Chagos. Finaly I was ascending this bloody heavy anchor when we left namibia to brazil. At least, I spend 8 month of my life below those durty sails!

Your project have a very nice smell and the first trailer you put online is very good and make me impatient to see what is going after! (and i\'m conscious how bad quality the pictures were!) The text Tom wrote meens such things for me!

I hope your project will occur. I hope you will meet Tom, Kim and Karaka. I hope you will manage to deal with a certain disconfort inherent with a live on a deck, and finaly forget it and transform it to an impressive experiment. I don\'t want to scare you :) Karaka is old but she is big and so it is a very confortable boat compare to other little one we met! I hope you will find what you are looking for (in the case you are looking for something!) and in the same time I hope you won\'t, so you could be surprised by what you were not expecting!

make this film! make us dream!
And be conscious that may be your energie will feed the seed! :)

Impressions of the day: 5. Oktober 2011

I am very grateful for this day.

We have welcomed Gaetan into the Karaka tribe - thanks again Gaetan for your support.

I would also like to thank Nuna Bizness for her comment on our Facebook site http://www.facebook.com/OffGridPeople/posts/10150397568087363 I am quite new to all the social media stuff and I am learning so much every day.

First time in history each of us has the power to reach so many people with one strong idea - it makes me really excited. I can hardly wait to boar the Karaka and do this film.

Dear friends your comments regarding the project are very much appreciated, you can help me fine tune it.

I am planning to add some rewards (T-shirts and some other stuff -check it out later) Thank you for your interest in the project
